Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini says the 3-3 away draw against Celtic is a positive result but his side should have done more after taking a two-goal lead.
The Nerazzurri enjoyed a dream start to the game with Xherdan Shaqiri and Rodrigo Palacio netting in early goals but it took Celtic just two minutes to restore parity in the 25th minute of the game.
The 33-year-old took full advantage of Craig Gordon's error to put Internazionale back in front before the end of the first half but John Guidetti's late goal means the two teams share a very entertaining draw at Celtic Park.
"We started really well, scoring two goals, but then we maybe thought that it was going to be easy," Mancini said.
"I'm not surprised the 2-0 was not enough, anything can change in any minute in the game of football, but it's a good result.
"The problem is that we defended too much, it happens when you're tired, thinking that you can defend better when you drop so deep. We had to keep moving forward, else there is always a risk of conceding goals.
"I'm a bit upset with the outcome but I'm satisfied with the approach.
"We now have many games coming up and I hope the players who played today will be ready for the away game against Cagliari [on Monday]."
