Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini says a good run of form would be a confidence injection for his players.
The Nerazzurri registered a much-needed win against Palermo last week and Mancini wants more of the same when his side faces Atalanta on Sunday afternoon.
"The players are improving every day, the attitude is excellent and I'm very satisfied," Mancini said.
"They [Atalanta] didn't deserve to lose [against Fiorentina], they are a very solid team and playing against them is always difficult.
"Tomorrow's game is the most important one, there will be enough time to recover [for next week's Europa League game against Celtic]."
And despite the 13-point difference from third-placed Napoli, the Italian says a top three finish should be an objective.
"We should not give up [hopes of finishing third], that's what one has to do in football," he said.
"Our focus is on Atalanta, things could change if we register a run of positive results.
"I'm not concerned [about all the fixtures coming up], it's always better to play than to train. My only worry at the moment is the number of injuries in the team."
