Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini says his side will overcome new-year struggles and push on for an important position in the league.
The Nerazzurri continued to make individual mistakes as they crashed out of the Italian Cup in mid-week but the Italian insists that his squad is strong enough to overcome all setbacks suffered this year.
"I understand Internazionale fans are disappointed but they have to trust me," Mancini said.
"Despite the negative moment I can see a lot of positive thing and sooner or later we will also start delivering important results. In the game of football, unfortunately, time is needed to recover from a negative patch."
Internazionale face Palermo in tomorrow's evening game and Mancini expects a tough game against Giuseppe Iachini's men.
"All games are tough in Italy and Palermo are doing well, they possess a very strong offensive department," he said.
"We know we will play against a team with nothing to lose, knowing that to win we have to be perfect.
"Hugo [Campagnaro] is fit and should be available.
"[Rodrigo] Palacio and [Lukas] Podolski are not at their top level but they are fit and they can do what I want from them.
"Like all players, after all. We are a young team but if someone suffers from fatigue, then we can talk about it.
"George [Puscas] struggled against Napoli, an important game, maybe the first important game in his career."
