Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini says Xherdan Shaqiri will be fit for the weekend game against Torino.
The 23-year-old joined the Nerazzurri during the winter transfer window and last night scored his first goal for the club in the 2-0 win against Sampdoria in the Italian Cup.
The home win sees Internazionale move on the Last 8 of the competition where they will face the winner of tonight's game between Napoli and Udinese.
"The team approached the game well, Sampdoria did well to close all gaps at the back," Mancini said.
"We created many goal-scoring opportunities and we were patient enough when we had possession.
"But we still have to improve in the defensive department.
"He [Xherdan Shaqiri] is still not 100% fit yet, I could have replaced him earlier in the game, but he wanted to continue.
"He's improving and he has enough time to recover for Sunday's game.
"I'm happy that both him and [Lukas] Podolski played a very good game."
