Coach Walter Mazzarri believes it will take time for Internazionale to achieve all set objectives.
Guest at the experimental company in Riccagioia, head office of the regional authority for services to agriculture and forestry in Lombardy, the Italian believes patience is the key, and giving young players time to develop is the right way forward.
"Ours is a long-term project," Mazzarri said.
"We started a new era and no one mentioned that we're playing with four youngsters. Just like Barcelona did, we will get back to winning terms.
"Today's Internazionale squad is different than those of the past so one has to chase quality with work."
The main objective according to many is for Internazionale to finish the season in the top three and Mazzarri believes he can qualify for the Champions League just as he did with Napoli.
"The Champions League? With Napoli I showed that I can handle an important project," the coach said.
"With Internazionale I hope to reach the Champions League as soon as possible."
