Internazionale president Erick Thohir has reassured fans he intends to take care of the club in a professional way.
Often criticised for not spending enough time in Milan, the 44-year-old explained that he is more than happy to travel to Milan to deal with business concerning the Italian club.
"I have just returned from Milan where I had to care of some business concerning Internazionale," the president said.
"I travelled to Milan more than 15 times since I became president but I'm happy to do it."
The president has also been under fire for having to split his time between Internazionale and Indonesian basketball team Satria Muda BritAma Jakarta but he believes his time can be equally spent between the two activities.
"There is no need to split time between the two activities, it has to be done in the same, equal way," added Thohir.
"Some friends of mine asked me to take care of Internazionale and I will of course do it."
