Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert accuses Ronald Koeman of lack of respect
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert revealed he was surprised by Southampton manager Ronald Koeman's decision to go public about the Saints' interest for defender Ron Vlaar.
Last week, the Dutchman said the 29-year-old would be perfect for his squad with Lambert angered by the comments.
"He is disrespecting when talking about other team's players," Lambert told Sky Sports.
"I wouldn't mind if he picked up the phone, but you don't go public on it.
"That's the thing that annoyed me the most. I just thought it was the wrong thing to have done."
