Luis Enrique is close to being named Chelsea's new manager, according to the Sun.
Recent reports have claimed that Maurizio Sarri and Laurent Blanc were frontrunners to take over from Antonio Conte but it now seems the former Barcelona boss has moved in pole position.
The 48-year-old could be appointed within the coming days.
He would have the tough task of winning the English Premier League or at least finish in the Top Four so as to feature in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte has been heavily linked with Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane resigned at the end of last month.
The Italian and former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger are strong favourites to take over from the Frenchman.
