Manchester United are closing on a £15million move for CSKA Moscow's Aleksandr Golovin, according to The Sun.
The player would take over from Juan Mata in the Manchester United midfield next season.
Boss Jose Mourinho has already scouted the player earlier this week as Russia were beaten 1-0 by Austria in a friendly match in Innsbruck.
The 22-year-old will be one of the most interesting youngsters during the upcoming World Cup Finals.
He scored seven goals in 43 games in all competitions in the 2017-18 season, an interesting figure for a midfielder.
But United are set to face competition.
Arsenal have also been linked with the talented midfielder with reports claiming last summer that he was very close to making a move to the Emirates.
It is however unknown whether new boss Unai Emery shares the same interest for the player as his predecessor Arsene Wenger.
