Leon Goretzka is close to signing for Bayern Munich from Schalke 04, according to reports.
The Arsenal target has agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga giants and will join them next year.
He is expected to be loaned out according to German journalist Raphael Honigstein.
Honigstein has claimed on Twitter that the 22-year-old is a target for manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Reports in England have claimed on Wednesday that the Gunners were determined to make a move for the youngster.
He made 41 appearances in all competitions for Schalke 04 last season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists for his team-mates.
