Turkish club Antalyaspor have opened talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
President Ali Safak Ozturk has confirmed that he wants to sign the 25-year-old.
Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth but made an early return to the Emirates after fracturing his leg against Tottenham Hotspur in April.
At the start of the month he was linked with Serie A side Sampdoria.
"We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere," Ozturk said.
"It will be a difficult move to pull off."
Manager Arsene Wenger told reporters two weeks ago that the Englishman will be at Arsenal next season but the player's future remains uncertain.
