Galatasaray have been in talks with Arsenal over a deal for midfielder Mohamed Elneny, according to Express Sport.
Sporting director Cenk Ergun arrived in London and has already opened talks with the Gunners to finalise the transfer of the Egyptian.
The 25-year-old moved to the Emirates during the 2016 winter transfer window.
He failed to make an impact in Arsene Wenger's squad and is expected to leave the club this summer.
Last week, manager Arsene Wenger deployed him in a more defensive role but only because all other players were not available to start.
"He played at centre back because our centre backs, one was sick with food poisoning - Mertesacker, we had to send him back to the hotel - and Koscielny had a problem with his back so he was not available," the Frenchman explained.
