Arsenal have reignited their interest in Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho according to the Daily Star.
The Gunners first made an approach for the Portugal international two years ago but their £20.6million offer was rejected.
But they are determined to make a new approach this summer to sign the 25-year-old who is also a target for Manchester United's Jose Mourinho.
Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion have been also linked with the player.
Transfer market expert Tancredi Palmeri confirmed Arsenal's interest on Twitter.
Manager Arsene Wenger has already secured the services of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
But he wants to add at least two more players before the end of the summer transfer window.
