Arsenal legend Paul Merson is convinced that Alexis Sanchez will eventually leave the Gunners in the summer.
The Englishman says a repeat of what happened with the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie is on the cards despite manager Arsene Wenger's words that the Chilean will stay.
"I'd be shocked if he [Sanchez] was there come the end of the transfer window," he told talkSPORT.
"We've seen this Arsene before, he's said it a lot... Nasri's not leaving, Fabregas is not leaving, Van Persie's not leaving.
"He can say all these things and then he can say, 'it's out of my hands, the board want to sell him, the club's a business'."
Recent reports have claimed that the 28-year-old has already agreed personal terms to join Paris Saint-Germain.
