Arsenal have been given hope in their attempts to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City.
Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare has confirmed that he has no idea whether the Algeria international will be at the club next season.
Roma are also interested in the 26-year-old but just like Arsenal they are not ready to meet Leicester's £50million request.
"I'm not sure. I'm not sure," Shakespeare told reporters.
"I think Riyad stated his position really clearly. Mine is really simple.
"While he's here and while we've had no bids officially – its all speculation - he has to be committed to the Football Club.
"I have to say in his two weeks back he has been totally committed and he's trained really well.
"Outgoings are inevitable at any football club but until you actually get bids for your players there is no decision to make."
