BBC journalist David Ornstein has confirmed that Arsenal are still determined to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
The 21-year-old have had two bids turned down but are still firmly in the hunt for the player.
Manager Arsene Wenger has identified the youngster as one who would strengthen the Arsenal midfield.
The French giants are taking in consideration the offer of the North Londoners but will probably decide to keep the player after already selling a number of top quality players during the summer transfer window.
"The club are still interested in signing Thomas Lemar, the Monaco winger," he said.
"It may be dependent on who else leaves Monaco with Bakayoko coming in at Chelsea and Mendy possibly at Manchester City but Arsenal are still in the hunt for Thomas Lemar."
