Arsenal target Amine Harit has joined Schalke 04, the Bundesliga official website has confirmed.
The 20-year-old was a target for a number of top European clubs including Bayern Munich.
But he decided to join Domenico Tedesco's side with which he signed a four-year contract.
At the start of last month, the German giants confirmed that they were interested in the youngster.
"Harit is a very interesting player," Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel told Kicker.
"He is one of a number of options.
"We will have to look at how realistic a transfer is from a financial perspective."
