Arsenal youngster Kaylen Hinds has arrived in Germany to complete his transfer from Arsenal to Wolfsburg.
HITC Sport has claimed that it was former Arsenal academy chief Andries Jonker who asked the club to sign him.
Jonker is now manager at Wolfsburg and considers Hinds as one for the future.
The youngster spent the second half of last season out on loan at League Two Stevenage.
He never made his official debut for the first-team at the Emirates.
Last week, the Gunners announced that another young talent left the club after Chris Willock opted not to sign a contract with the club to join Benfica in Portugal.
