Everton boss Ronald Koeman is expected to make personal contact with striker Olivier Giroud to convince him to leave Arsenal.
According to the Sun, the Toffees have identified the Frenchman as a main target for the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman is expected to complete his Emirates exit in the coming weeks.
He will be replaced by Alexandre Lacazette who will join Arsenal from Lyon.
Giroud, 30, has struggled to secure regular first-team football at the club last season.
And although manager Arsene Wenger wants to keep him, he has decided to leave the club in order not to lose his place with the French national team.
