West Ham United co-owner David Gold says the Hammers are interested in all good players but opted not to comment on rumours linking the club with Jack Wilshere.
The Arsenal midfielder spent last season on loan at Bournemouth but has now returned to the Emirates ahead of pre-season.
Recent reports have claimed that the Gunners will offer a new contract to the Englishman but he will only stay if guaranteed a regular place in Arsene Wenger's squad.
"We are interested in all good players but we have to face the facts here - we have got good midfielders," he told talkSPORT.
"We have got a good defence, we have got good midfielders, we have got good wingers.
"We need strikers and that is the key to everything for this season so we are focused first and foremost on bringing in two strikers."
