Super-agent Jorge Mendes has been spotted in Barcelona where he held a three-hour long summit to discuss the futures of several players, Metro has revealed.
The article claims that he is taking care of the transfer of Arda Turan from Barcelona to another club.
Turan is normally represented by Ahmet Bulut but Mendes is involved in negotiations which could see the former Turkey international complete his move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with the 30-year-old as the future of the attacking midfielder remains unclear.
Bulut made it clear at the start of the month that Barcelona want to keep him and that the player doesn't want to leave the Camp Nou.
"At this moment in time, nobody at Barcelona has put themselves in touch with me to say that Arda [Turan] is transferable," the agent told Cadena Cope radio station.
"As such, our current plan is for him to stay for next season.
"He has three more years on his contract and is happy at Barcelona.
"It's true that last season wasn't an easy season for him, because he suffered injuries and the second half didn't go well, but he is happy.
"He likes the choice of Ernesto Valverde because of his career path and because of what he's like as a coach.
"At this moment, I haven't spoken with any club in the world, but if Barcelona say that he isn't in their plans then it'll be a different story."
