Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will return to the Emirates after the Gunners failed to reach an agreement for his transfer with Juventus.
The Bianconeri have made a £4million offer to secure the services of the Poland international.
But Arsenal have made it clear that they must come back with an improved offer if they want to sign the goalkeeper with the Sun claiming that the North Londoners are eager to welcome him back at the club.
Szczesny has spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma and is also a target for Maurizio Sarri's Napoli.
Last week, the 27-year-old confirmed that he will start pre-season with the rest of Arsene Wenger's squad.
"As soon as my loan spell at Roma is over I will be back at Arsenal," Szczesny is quoted as saying by Calcio d'Angolo.
"There is no doubts about that but I'm currently only thinking about my holidays in the United States."
