Arsenal are about to offer a new contract to attacking midfielder Aaron Ramsey according to recent reports.
The Welshman's contract with the club expires in the summer of 2019.
And since the Gunners don't want a repeat of Alexis Sanchez's situation, they are urgently trying to extend the contract of the 26-year-old.
The Daily Telegraph also claims that the Welshman's future is at the moment at the top of Arsene Wenger's priority list, even higher than Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil's contracts.
Caerphilly-born Ramsey joined Arsenal during the 2008 summer transfer window after the Gunners fought off competition from Everton and Manchester United.
He struggled to make an impact in his first years at the club but has recently become one of the most important players in Wenger's setup.
