West Ham United have entered the race to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, Sky Sports has revealed.
The 30-year-old has struggled to secure a regular place in Arsene Wenger's squad last season but still managed to score 16 goals in all competitions.
The experienced striker moved to the Emirates during the 2012 summer transfer window, becoming one of the most prolific strikers in Wenger's squad.
He made it clear at the start of the month that he will not stay at Arsenal to warm the bench in the season leading to the World Cup Finals in Russia.
"Wenger is counting on me even though he hasn't used me much," Giroud said.
"I will not settle for limited playing time [next season] like I have this season."
