Arsenal have opened talks with Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina according to Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
The 23-year-old has spent most of his time with the Bianconeri on the bench since his 2015 move from Olympique de Marseille.
He is a target for a number of Premier League sides and last month he declared that it is flattering to be linked with clubs like Arsenal and Watford.
"I am flattered by the interest of Arsenal and Watford," he told Foot Mercato.
"I am playing for a big club now but I am happy about the interest of other clubs.
"I do not have a preference for any league. My future depends on who really wants me.
"I don't think I'll be moving to Lyon. I am from Marseille and I am not interested in joining them. I don't think I have a chance to return to Marseille."
