"Arsenal to complete deal" - Arsene Wenger's second summer signing to be announced soon

By

Arsenal will complete the signing of CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin in the next few days according to Metro.

The 21-year-old will become the club's second summer signing but is expected to stay at CSKA on loan for at least another season.

The North Londoners will pay £10million to secure the services of the midfielder.

Meanwhile, Pavel Kucherov who is Arsenal's scout in Russia, has raised a number of concerns about the transfer.

"This was a surprise for me," he told Sport Express.

"Usually, these things aren't publicised and are kept private.

"He is not talented enough for the European level and it's unrealistic to discuss his transfer to a top Premier League club.

"To make it to a top Premier League club, Aleksandr would need to improve his football in general, as well as his physical, psychological and mental attributes.

"If Golovin wants to prove himself in England, he will have to do it step by step. Because of high competition, he would be getting little playing time to prove himself."
