Arsenal are leading the way to sign Sunderland's Joel Asoro during the summer transfer window, the Daily Star has claimed.
Manager Arsene Wenger has identified the 18-year-old as well as 17-year-old Benjamin Mbunga-Kimpioka as possible summer targets.
Liverpool, Everton and Southampton are also interested in Asoro but the Gunners are in pole position if the Black Cats decide to sell.
The Swedish declared that he is taking in consideration the possibility of leaving the Stadium of Light.
"It's not something you can decide now," Asoro said.
"We will have to see who the new manager is and whether or not they like me.
"If not, I will have to look for something. I have to develop and can't just play U23 football all the time."
