Arsenal reach agreement for transfer of impressive wonderkid - medical passed, player to be unveiled this afternoon

By

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Werder Bremen for the transfer of attacking midfielder Serge Gnabry, ESPN journalist Mattias Karen has revealed.

The youngster will be officially presented by the German giants later on today.

"Serge Gnabry to be presented by Werder Bremen at 3:30 p.m. local time," Karen wrote on Twitter.

According to the Daily Star, the talented German has already passed his medical and will move on a permanent basis.

He was one of the most impressive players during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio and his performance saw manager Arsene Wenger demanding a contract renewal.

But the player has decided to leave the Emirates in order to enjoy regular first-team football in the German Bundesliga.
