Arsenal defender Calum Chambers will leave the club to play for Middlesbrough on loan, The Sun has revealed.
Hull City, Stoke City, West Ham United and Roma were all linked with a possible move for the Englishman who will stay in the English Premier League and will work under manager Aitor Karanka.
The 21-year-old has struggled to secure a regular first-team place at Arsenal and will be hoping to gain enough experience at the Riverside Stadium to return to the Emirates and be in a position to fight for a place in manager Arsene Wenger's squad.
The Frenchman confirmed at the end of last week that there was no place for the youngster in his squad.
"Future? No [it won't be affected by new signings], Wenger told reporters.
"The fact that he could go out somewhere and play? Yes.
"[And] with Joel Campbell going out, Calum Chambers maybe will go on loan somewhere. It will be alright."
