Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has suggested that attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil and striker Olivier Giroud will both start today's game against Watford on the bench.
The two came on in the second half during last week's goalless draw away at Leicester City.
They are still recovering after featuring in the 2016 Euro Championship in France.
The Gunners are already five points behind leaders Manchester City, Manchester United and Hull City and desperately need all three points from Vicarage Road.
"He's [Mesut Ozil is] not far now," Wenger said on Friday.
"That's a decision I have to make in the next 24 hours.
"[Today] it will be a similar squad [to last week]. Not everybody is up to speed completely.
"We still have some players who are a little bit behind.
"[Olivier] Giroud is still a little bit fractional behind physically."
