Transfer market expert Emanuele Giulianelli says Shkodran Mustafi will undergo a medical with Arsenal on Monday ahead of his move to the Emirates.
If the deal goes through, the Germany international will be Arsene Wenger's fifth summer signing after Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano, Rob Holding and Kelechi Nwakali.
He will add depth to the Arsenal defensive department that will be without Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista for months.
On Thursday, the father and manager of the Valencia defender confirmed that a decision will be taken before the end of next week.
"Very soon you will know about the future of Mustafi," he told Goal.
"Two or more clubs are in negotiations with the player, while there is also interest from other unnamed European sides."
