Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that striker Jamie Vardy gave no reason for his decision to reject a move to the Emirates.
Arsenal had triggered the striker's £21million release clause in July but the Englishman decided to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium.
And the Frenchman says Vardy's decision has to be respected ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Leicester City.
"No, [he gave no reason for the snub]," Wenger told reporters on Thursday morning.
"Look, you have to respect the decisions of people and that's part of it and I think in every transfer market you have one or two who have decisions to make and you have to respect them.
"I don't know [what would happen if he scores on Saturday].
"I don't think he has something special against us, I don't see why he would."
