Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has confirmed that Arsenal want to sign defender Shkodran Mustafi but raised concerns about how he will settle down at the Emirates.
Valencia are ready to sell the player for €30million, Balague wrote on Twitter, adding that he may not be good enough for the Premier League.
Recent reports have claimed that the 24-year-old agreed personal terms with the North Londoners and that he will be officially announced later on this week.
Manager Arsene Wenger is hoping to secure the services of the Germany international before this weekend's game against Leicester City.
The Gunners simply cannot afford to lose against the Foxes having already suffered a 4-3 home defeat at the hands of Liverpool at the end of last week.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all won their first game in the Premier League and Arsenal could find themselves six points behind them if they fail to take any points from the King Power Stadium.
