Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to offer at least £60million to sign either Robert Lewandowski or Antoine Griezmann according to the Sun.
The Gunners are desperate to add a new striker to their squad and have already failed in their attempts to add Jamie Vardy or Alexandre Lacazette.
And according to the article, an "Emirates source" confirmed that the Frenchman is ready to spend on a striker: "Arsene is willing to spend on a striker this summer, but only for the right man.
"He has his targets and players he thinks will improve the squad, but this could go down to the wire."
One of the best players in last month's Euro 2016 Championship, Griezmann has an £85.5m release clause in his contract at Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, reports in Germany have claimed that if Robert Lewandowski is to leave Bayern Munich he will only do it to make a move to Real Madrid in the Spanish Liga.
