Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette has suffered a hip injury described as "worrying" by coach Bruno Genesio.
The Frenchman was substituted during his side's defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Trophee des Champions.
He will be assessed later on today but reports have claimed that he could be set for a lengthy lay-off.
"It's worrying, it's a big downside of the evening in addition to the defeat," Genesio is quoted as saying by Goal.
"This is our attack leader, he is needed. It's too early to tell about the injury. There will be examinations early this week."
President Jean-Michel Aulas added: "Lacazette has a hip pain. He must pass exams.
"Hopefully this is not very serious."
