Transfer market expert Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed on Twitter that Arsenal will make a new offer to sign defender Shkodran Mustafi.
The Valencia defender is a confirmed target for the Gunners according to recent reports.
But earlier this week, manager Arsene Wenger refused to comment about a possible move for the player.
"[Shkodran Mustafi?] We have not closed any deal with anybody at the moment," Wenger said.
"That’s the answer. You speak about Mustafi. Is it Mustafi or anybody else - we haven’t concluded anything at the moment.
"[Alexandre Lacazette?] I can understand that you are interested in transfers but I’m not ready to come out on any name.
"We still have some problems to sort out - to defend better, our offensive game was quite interesting in matches.
"For us it’s very important to focus and improve the quality of our game. After that, the reality starts on August 14 for us and until then the preparation puts us in a good psychological condition to start well.
"We play Liverpool, go to Leicester, so the start provides very strong tests."
