Italian Serie A side Roma have extended the loan spell of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for one more season.
The player has arrived in Italy and has passed the medical in the afternoon.
According to Sky Sport Italy, the agreement does not include an option for Roma to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
Coach Luciano Spalletti was delighted after the two clubs reached an agreement to extend the loan of the Poland international.
"We are happy, we have two strong goalkeepers [Alisson the other one] and I don't know who will be my regular," he said.
"It will depend on how they perform. I have to be careful and fair.
"Alisson improved when he has the ball in his feet, he's strong and very agile.
"We will play many games and two strong goalkeepers have to be ready week in, week out."
