Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was full of praise for young Rob Holding after he featured against the MLS All-Stars.
The Frenchman wasted no time at all to test the youngster who was the only player to play the full 90 minutes in San Jose.
And with Per Mertesacker set to spend months on the lines, Holding could enjoy regular first team football in Wenger's squad.
"I thought he did very well," the Arsenal manager told Arsenal Player.
"I must say he looked composed, mastered the pressure well, wasn't nervous and he reads the game very well.
"I think it's very interesting to see that such a young boy like him can cope with a game like that."
