Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has told his friends that he will leave the club during the summer transfer window.
According to Calciomercato.it, the Poland international will extend his loan spell with the Giallorossi for one more season.
Coach Luciano Spalletti was impressed with the 26-year-old last season and asked the club to keep the goalkeeper for this season as well.
Earlier this week, the 57-year-old confirmed that Szczesny will face competition to secure a regular first-team place in his squad.
"That's how it should be," he told Sky Sport Italy.
"Big clubs must have regular players who don't feature in certain games."
