Arsenal have announced that they reached an agreement to sign Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers on a long-term contract.
The defender is Arsene Wenger's third summer signing.
He follows Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano as fans continue to wait for the Frenchman to add a big-name signing during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have confirmed that they remain in the market as they are expected to sign at least two more players before deadline day.
Holding says he was "over the moon" after he found out that he will play at the Emirates next season.
"Yeah, it's a massive club to have signed for," he said.
"It's something you dream of as a kid, so I can't wait to get started.
"I was over the moon - I couldn't believe it at first because of the size of the club. It was just a long way to get it done and get down here."
