Radio Kiss Kiss host Francesco Marciano has reportedly revealed that Gonzalo Higuain will leave Napoli to join Arsenal.
Different websites carry different quotes of what he said, one reporting that Arsenal will offer €50million and Olivier Giroud and the other that they are trying to sell Laurent Koscielny for €50million to have the financial resources to sign the Argentinean.
More quotes will be added, if available.
What Marciano said according to areanapoli.it:
"Napoli want to keep Higuain and will offer a new contract. But if they sell him he will go abroad. Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are two possible destinations.
"I am convinced that he will not join Juventus.
"I know that the English club [Arsenal] are trying to sell [Laurent] Koscielny for €50million."
What Marciano said according to Calcio Napoli 24:
"Napoli want to keep Higuain.
"The rumours about Juventus are true but I am convinced that he will leave Napoli to play abroad.
"Almost surely the Argentinean will join Arsenal, actually, I am convinced of this.
"The Gunners have offered €50million plus [Olivier] Giroud but they are also trying to sell a player [or some players] in order to improve the financial part of their offer.
"Also watch out for Paris Saint-Germain."
Based on the two quotes, it seems that Marciano said that:
- Napoli don't want to sell the player
- If he leaves it will not be to join Juventus
- Arsenal are interested
- Arsenal are trying to sell one or more players to finance the move
- Paris-Saint Germain are also interested
