Wolfsburg midfielder Julian Draxler is "very keen" on joining Arsenal, transfer market expert Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed.
The 22-year-old is a target for the Gunners and Liverpool according to reports in England.
The Independent reported last week that the North Londoners have made a £43m bid to secure the services of the Germany international who according to Giulianelli is ready to leave the club to move to the Emirates.
"Draxler would be very keen on the move: he tried to go to Arsenal for the past 2 years," Giulianelli wrote on Twitter.
Sporting director Klaus Allofs has however declared that the German side will not sell the player during this summer transfer window.
"It is clear that Wolfsburg is not the end of his dreams – neither was Schalke," Allofs told German outlet Sport Bild.
"There are clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona or one or other club from England.
"But Julian knows exactly how the contractual situation is. He has a long-term contract with us. We plan to stick with it!"
