Juventus have made contact with Arsenal to sign Alexis Sanchez but the Gunners have refused to sell the Chilean, club CEO Giuseppe Marotta has revealed.
The Bianconeri were ready to meet Arsenal's £35million valuation for the attacking midfielder but in the end the North Londoners opted not to sell one of the most important players in Arsene Wenger's squad.
"He is a very good player but Arsenal don't want to sell him," Marotta told El Mercurio.
"We made contact with the club and they wanted £35million which is understandable for such a good player.
"But after our reply Arsenal told us that they don't want to sell Alexis Sanchez."
Sanchez is currently on holidays to recover from the Copa America.
