Arsenal have confirmed that Japanese striker Takuma Asano is the club's second summer signing.
According to the club's official website, the 21-year-old was a target for a number of top European clubs but he decided to join Arsenal to work under Arsene Wenger.
He joins Granit Xhaka who signed from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Wenger was full of praise for the youngster who is yet to undergo a medical with the club.
