Santos president Modesto Roma says his club want to keep striker Gabriel Barbosa amid rumours he is wanted by Arsenal.
The youngster is expected to be one of the main attractions of this summer's Olympic football tournament.
Recent reports have claimed that Real Madrid are also interested in making a move for the 19-year-old.
But Roma wants the talented striker to stay at Santos.
"Santos will do everything to keep its athletes," Roma told Globo Esporte.
"It's good for Santos and for Lucas Lima that he fulfils the contract.
"And the club wants Gabriel to fulfil his too, unless someone pays the release clause. We are open to talk, to negotiate.
"The career of a player isn't only based on money."
