Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to deny that he is interested in signing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Recent reports have claimed that the Gunners have opened talks to make the 23-year-old their second summer signing.
The player is not keen on moving to the English Premier League but would consider such option only if he would leave France to play under Arsene Wenger.
"I neither confirm or deny interest,' Wenger told Canal + Sport.
"If I say that I like the player it starts speculation."
Lacazette scored 92 goals in 229 appearances for the French giants and has an estimated market value of £45million.
He is also a target for West Ham United.
