Arsenal are reportedly pondering a transfer move for Southampton forward Sadio Mane after failing to land Jamie Vardy, Metro has revealed.
The 24-year-old was one of the most impressive players for Southampton last season and was one of the best players on the pitch when the Saints humiliated the Gunners on Boxing day.
Mane is one of the many players linked with a possible move to the Emirates after the announcement that Jamie Vardy extended his contract with Leicester City.
In January, then-manager Ronald Koeman made it clear that the Senegalese was not for sale.
"No, no, not in January," he said.
"Already we spoke about that situation and we sell nobody in January."
"Nobody, even when they pay £100m."
But things have changed since the Dutchman left to join Everton and the 24-year-old could be sold during the summer transfer window.
According to reports, he has a market transfer value of £35million.
