Arsenal have made a bid to sign Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj, Le10 Sport has revealed.
Manager Arsene Wenger is not satisfied with his alternative options to Hector Bellerin with Carl Jenkinson, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy all expected to leave the club in the summer.
Meanwhile, agent Mario Giuffredi has hinted that the Partenopei will reject the offer for the 22-year-old.
"He played three high-quality games so far at Euro 2016," Giuffredi told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Albania deserve to qualify, they were unlucky against Switzerland and France.
"Hysaj is grateful to Napoli and he wants to play the Champions League with them next season.
"Napoli are also open to open negotiations to offer a new contract to the player."
