Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy says he always focuses on pace and not strength during training sessions.
The 29-year-old impressed after leading the Foxes to their first Premier League title and stole the headlines after helping England battle past Wales four days ago.
And he revealed that he wouldn't be as fast as he is if he spends time lifting weights at the gym.
"The last time I lifted a weight? Probably that can of Red Bull the other day," Vardy is quoted as saying by Metro.
"I don't go to the gym, if I did it will slow me down. I don't go in for weights or anything like that.
"Each and every person is different and this is my way, and I'm sure if someone else tried doing what I do then it probably wouldn't work for them. People have tried to drag me in but they've tried and not succeeded.
"I wouldn't call it a diet, the Red Bull was just to wake me up in the morning. It's just standard me, a bit of Red Bull. It's not a regular thing whereby I have a Red Bull every morning."
