Former Germany international Michael Ballack says Arsenal's Mesut Ozil has become a world class player.
The 27-year-old delivered the perfect assist to team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger to help Germany battle past Ukraine on Sunday night.
He was the Vitality Player of the Season at Arsenal at the end of the season after back-to-back positive performances in Arsene Wenger's squad.
"Players like [Mesut] Ozil are always selected in the team for a reason," Ballack told ESPN.
"He is just world-class now.
"The final ball from him was a dream for Schweinsteiger."
Ozil joined Arsenal in the summer of 2013 after Real Madrid accepted a £42.4million offer from the Gunners.
